This policy explains what personal information the E-Minds IT INC website collects, why, who can see it and what choices you have. It describes how the site works today.

This website is operated by E-Minds IT INC ("E-Minds", "we", "us"), a technology consulting and staffing company.

What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us.
- Contact inquiry: your first and last name, work email address, company name, optional phone number, the service you are asking about, your message, and your confirmation that you agree to this policy. We also record the time you sent it and a review status (new, reviewed or resolved).
- Job application: your name, email address, optional phone number, the position you are applying for (or a general application), your cover message, an optional résumé file (PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 600 KB) or a link to a résumé you host elsewhere, if you choose to provide one, and your confirmation that you agree to this policy. We record the time and a status. The résumé is stored with the application in our protected database and can be read only by authorised E-Minds staff.
- Technical data created by hosting the site: like almost every website, our hosting provider processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time. We do not receive a profile of individual visitors from this.
- Administrator accounts: a small number of authorised E-Minds staff sign in to manage content and review inquiries. Their sign-in details are handled by Firebase Authentication. Members of the public cannot create accounts.
Please do not put passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, health information or other sensitive personal data in your message. We do not ask for it and do not need it.
Why we use it
- To read and respond to your inquiry.
- To consider your job application and contact you about it.
- To keep the website secure and working, including detecting abuse.
- To keep a record of the status of each inquiry or application so it is followed up.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use what you send us for advertising or to build marketing profiles.
Who can see it
Inquiries and applications are stored in a protected database. The public website can add a new entry but cannot read any entry back. Only E-Minds administrators who have been individually authorised can read them, and database rules enforce this on the server rather than relying on the website alone.
Where an administrator changes the status of an inquiry or edits content, the system records who made the change and when.
Service providers and third parties
The website runs on Google Firebase (Hosting, Firestore database and Authentication), so Google acts as a service provider that stores and processes the information described above on our behalf.
The site does not currently load analytics, advertising, social-media tracking or other third-party scripts, and its fonts are served from our own domain. Social "share" buttons on articles are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those networks unless you click one, and then their own policies apply.
Our pages may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
How we protect it
Connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Database access is limited by server-side rules: the public can only add well-formed inquiries and applications, and cannot read, change or delete anything. Administrator access is limited to named, authorised accounts.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information we will act as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting the privacy contact above. Where the law gives you further rights (for example to object, restrict processing, move your data or complain to a regulator) they will be listed here.
You can withdraw your consent for us to keep your inquiry or application by asking us to delete it. This will not affect anything done before you withdrew.
Children
The website is intended for businesses and job seekers, not for children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way the website handles personal information changes, and describe the change here.
